Drug Testing/Health Screening Update Regarding COVID-19

March 18, 2020

As healthcare facilities respond to the COVID-19 crisis, we are beginning to see some impact to employers who rely on pre and post employment drug testing and other health screens. Below is an update to help you plan for potential delays and service interruptions.

Drug Testing: Some, but not all, LabCorp patient service centers (PSCs) will be temporarily closed and will be unavailable to perform drug test specimen collections.  Quest and eScreen appear to be maintaining a solid network of available clinics, however this could change.

Occupational Health Testing:  As most health screens are performed in clinical settings, we are beginning to see some facilities close and/or limit appointments to essential services only.  This includes physicals (DOT and NDOT), TB Tests, and other types of screening.

HOW THIS IMPACTS YOU:

If Frasco Profiles is scheduling your drug tests, health screens, or TB Testing, we will make our best attempt to identify an available clinic within a reasonable distance.  If we cannot locate one, we will inform you and discuss alternate options.

If you are scheduling your own drug tests, health screens, or TB Tests, we strongly encourage you to contact the clinic prior to sending your applicant/employee to confirm they are open for business and performing the required services.  If you are unable to locate a clinic to handle your screening, please contact Customer Service for assistance.

DOT Random Pull Clients – For clients enrolled in the Frasco Profiles DOT Random Pull Management Program that have not yet successfully completed their 1st Quarter testing, you may elect to delay the remaining testing to 2nd Quarter.  If you wish to do this, please contact Customer Service.

We will continue to update our clients with the latest news/announcements effecting their occupational health program as information becomes available. As always please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Customer Service Representative with any questions or concerns.
